“Z” Axis (Fork Unit) - Two pairs of photocells, one pair on the right and one on the left of the mobile carriage, to check the perfect centering of the crane on the racking upright in correspondence with the location on which the load or unload cycle is carried out.
- Two pairs of photocells, one on the right and one on the left of the mobile carriage, to check the perfect centering of the crane on the racking load beam in correspondence with the location on which the load or unload cycle is carried out.
- Two background suppression scanners, one on the right and one on the left of the mobile carriage, for the empty location control in case of storage, or occupied location in case of retrieval.
- Photocells to check the correct positioning of the load on the forks. These photocells are activated in case of overhanging load, stopping the crane movements in a controlled manner.
- One sensor to check load presence on the forks after retrieval. If during the movement with load on board the sensor does not signal the presence of load, the movement of the stacker crane are stopped in a controlled manner.
- One sensor to check forks in centre. If this sensor is activated during the movement, the crane movements are stopped in a controlled manner.
- Two photocells to check fork elements retracted. If during the movement, one of the two photocells is activated, the movements of the crane are stopped in a controlled manner.
- One electrical sensor for the mechanical home positioning of the Z-axis.
