“Y” Axis (Hoisting) - Two electrical power sensors located on top and bottom ends of the crane mast are activated in case of over-travel, to interrupt power circuits
- An electromechanical stationary brake activated at the end of each movement and by axis in standstill
- An electrical sensor to check broken or slack mobile carriage hoisting chain.
- A device to limit the mobile carriage speed. The device consists of a cam pulley using the increase of its own peripheral speed to activate an electrical sensor which interrupts the electrical control circuits and to mechanically stop by means of a parachute the stroke of the mobile carriage.
- A parachute for the mechanical stop of the mobile carriage, in case the speed limiter is activated. The parachute acts directly on an electrowelded blade on the mast, causing a friction increase until the complete stop of the carriage. The stop of the mobile carriage is immediate.
- An electrical sensor mounted on the mobile carriage in correspondence with the parachute cam. This sensor interlocks the up/down movements, so that the operator can only move the carriage upwards to release the parachute.
- An electrical sensor for the mechanical home positioning of the Y-axis.
